Sometimes, instead of reading the New York Times or whatever is new on McSweeny’s as I sip my morning coffee, I just go through my spam folder and read through all the “419 fraud” emails I’m missing out on due to gmail’s super good spam filter. They’re usually a lot of fun to read, but this one was especially entertaining due to the oddly specific details on who the unclaimed money was from and how he died. My favorite (or should I say favourite?) way to interpret this who ridiculous tale is to assume that the helicopter crash was due to the pilot being already dead; like the Sabas family hopped in the helicopter without realizing that the pilot was dead. Or something. I don’t know. Shut up. It’s too f*cking early to think.

Moses Sabas, 1965-2011. Gone from our lives, but not from our hearts/my spam folder.
